April 17
Not a bad day for Boat Work but not a good day for moving the boat. Today the wind is blowing at 20 knots out of the North east. This makes travel today impossible, just too rough and dangerous. So the mechanic Axion came on board and did a quick check of stuff and is still thinking about what to do next. I am not sure there is problem.
So today I did some work. Painted the rusty engine mounts. This was done after washing the mounts with Otho-phosphate and drying them. So the engine compartment looks a lot better today. Then I fastened in the float Switch for the #1 bilge. The last installation did take and I sank the float with a couple of weights. Now the float is held in place with attached wire/coat hanger. Then inspected an oil filter and that seems to of gone well. Cleaned the bilge again and removed more dirt and rust. Now waiting for the weather to change and Axion to check out engine computer.
Road around town on the Bikes and I am getting better at folding and unfolding them.
A mystery and arisen on the boat. Some chocolate chip cookies have gone missing and I have not eaten any. Dianne said it was not her. So should I put out big cockroach traps or assume Dianne ate them and is not fessing up. Of there is a possibility I am so old I ate them and forgot.
Original home of the marina Owner now third generation. This place is now a event location for weddings and such.
