New Buffalo to New Buffalo

Slept to the grand old hour of 8 am.  Rather I read the new and books then played games until 8 while Dianne slept in.  The forecast did not change and although it looked ok at the coast with the off shore winds in where we headed could have been really bad. 

After moving our of bed we cooked blueberry coffee cake with a blueberry sauce on top.  It was good I am surprised how easy it was after I got the coffee prepared. 

Then I did a quick repair on the door current and got the bicycles out for a ride.  We tried to see the railroad museum and it was closed.  Then tried to find something called the “Hellenic cultural center” and although we stood in front of the site it was now a church.  So seemed like a good Idea to ride and look at houses.  I do not think I could afford to live here.

Back on the boat the AC seemed to work well.  Left it on during the night.  Today it did ok not great but OK seemed to just keep up.  The problem is the amount of heat that seems get into the boat from the sun. 

In the afternoon walked to the beach.  I noticed two things, some people should not wear a bikini (way too young, too old, or wrong shape) and those that do wear them are always adjusting them.  Now I have experience with this specific problem with my pantyhose if I always have to adjust then I know I bought them in the incorrect size or I need a belt.  However constant adjustment is proof that they are uncomfortable.  I have to wear my pantyhose but if the bathing suit is so uncomfortable why are they wearing them?  Being clearly uncomfortable is not a good look so if they think it look good they are wrong.  Just a random thought I guess.

At 4 the AC became unnecessary as a thunderstorm rolled in.  The coast Guard came into harbor as did the dredging barge.  As soon the worst wind of the storm passed the Coast Guard was gone.  The dredge was blown off it normal banking position and used it shovel to pull it into place, that is some strong wind to move something that big.  

While cooking dinner I was sipping a new whiskey from a local still.  Dianne came along half filled the glass and killed it in one gulp.  When I asked what happened to whiskey she said what whiskey all I had was a glass of water.  I guess it is pretty smooth whiskey.
