Green Turtle Bay Resort to Paris Landing State Park 44.1 miles average 5.8 miles per gallon

A quiet day today.  Up early and had a breakfast of raisin bran and coffee.  I still feel stupid about ground and kind of bad about missing out on visiting a fellow looper after dinner.  But dinner did take longer than expected.

The ride today took us through a small channel that joins the Cumberland to Tennessee rivers.  Then it follows up the Tennessee river (Kentucky Lake now) to Paris Landing State Park Marina.  The fuel usage was average, there is no new vibrations and I inspected the prop before heading to bed last night.  So there is no apparent damage from the grounding. I guess sometimes it is better to be lucky than good.

Yesterday we saw 70 dead fish in the river, today only 3.  Not sure what is killing them if were guess it would be an algae bloom as the river did look greenish.  The Buzzards and the eagles seemed to be enjoying the easy picking though.

Today we saw only one tow boat and he was tied to the bank waiting to lock through.  Then only 2 other boats within hailing distance.  The rest of the 8 boats were fishing way off channel or zipping along the shore.

No driving errors today.  However after hooking up the city water I noticed our bilge pump running to beat the band.  So I shut  off the city water and the flow stopped.  I then started the onboard water pressure pump and it did not stop and the bilge started up again the pump did not stop.  This told me that there was a broken water hose in the boat.  I found the first place I looked and it only took 15 mixtures to fix.  Lets hope it stay fixed not like the last time I had to repeatedly attach fittings.

Well that is the news good night keep your fingers crossed that my hose clamps hold.
