Orange Beach AL (Bear Point Marina) to Destin FL 61 Miles

Anchored off shore.

Last night was tough sleeping the boat was rocked by boat, wind and tide.  The woman said it would be rough and it was.  The walk to restroom this morning was also long but we did anyways. I retrieved the soap I left there last night.

A quick bite for breakfast and off we went.  Made great time and speed this morning this afternoon not so great as the tide turned and the wind died down a bit.  But still made 4.9 miles per gallon not a bad number.

Saw 15 dolphins around the boat today which is a lot.  Most of them were at Pensacola bay.

Boats here are really rude had 1 cut me off another came by at speed and was only 15 ft off the side.  Two boats sandwiched me between doubling their wake no one seemed to pay any attention no wake signs and only one boat slowed for me.  But I watched the captain and I think it was the fly or something he was trying to kill not me that caused him to slow down.

Scenery today was classic Florida Condo, beach homes, sandy beaches and dunes or small areas of pine trees.

The reviews of the marinas available were horrible noisy expensive and limited service so we decided to anchor next to shore.
