10 west of Panama City to Apalachacola 60 mile
Poor sleeping last night for two reasons:
-high winds and rough water
-boat shifting to max length of anchor and tide turning us 360 setting off anchor alarm
An insanely long day.
-Up at 5:30 off at 7:00
-Sun in eyes till 9:30 so developed method of driving with hat held up to block sun
-filled with Diesel in Panama city and with wind it was tough to dock
-Tide against us and therefore we had to burn more fuel than I wanted to get here with any day light.
-very difficult navigation as the channel was shallow and very narrow
-only saw 3 other boats all day long after Panama city
-saw 8 large cruiser washed ashore I assume by Hurricane Michel in 2018
-lots of visible damage still visible from Hurricane Michel as seen from lack of trees
-One house was washed down the river and is still on the bank.
-And we had to a high rate to dock here and WiFi does not work!!!!!!
-And they made me move my boat for a non-existent boat in the slip next to me!!!!!
Went out to dinner after arriving here as I was too exhausted to cook.
With poor connections pictures tomorrow
