Carrabelle to Steinhatchee (Sea Hag Marina) 84 miles some in the dark

Left early at 6AM in the dark.

My conclusion is driving a boat in the dark sucks.  Touched one dock pole and came too close to several others. But no damage.

When driving in the dark the trick is not to trust you feeling of movement or vision as so many reflected lights.  Key is to monitor GPS and stay on track making only small driving changes.  IE use Autopilot as much as possible.

Crossed gulf so most of the trip was blue water so it is just boring.

Turned radio on and listened to music for a change.

Saw dolphins at least 5 times

Saw flying fish once

Saw sharks twice

Arrived in Steinhatchee and met Amy and Phil. Really nice people.  Phil build a boat and called around the world with Amy.  Fun talking to them about their adventure.  Learned how to do a new style of Anchoring will try that tomorrow.

Pictures to follow poor connections here.
