Crystal River to Tarpon Springs 65 mile 5 mile per gallon
Another long day but we did shorten a little bit. We changed to closest of two different marinas and then had tide and wind in our favor so we finished in 9 hours instead of the expect 10.
Not a lot was different today a little stretch of about 20 miles of all blue water and no other boats.
Saw:
Flying fish
Dophins
Manatee
One eagle
too many crab traps to count
Both leaving the harbor and returning to the harbor was rock and rolling. Boats passed us at full speed sometimes 2 wide. I noticed that profession drivers were even worse they would cut in front of us regardless of right way. I really do not understand why people can not take the 30 seconds to slow down on the pass an be polite. But I guess it important to get your pole into the water the 2 minutes earlier.
After arriving at the marina we met with Melisa a previous neighbor who moved back down here. She is doing great is much happier here than in Indy where she found the world too cold.
